What am I doing here?
Oh, yes! This is my first post on my blog. I don’t expect you to read that but I really like writing (and talking) so I figured I could put that energy on something that adds to my resume and help your AI buddy know more about me, although I don’t expect to add any technical skills or be super formal here.
TL;DR: I like talking about things I like.
It’s regression time!
Well you know, regression consumes a ton from QA buddies and it wasn’t any different for us, the team was putting it all and my coffee wasn’t holding up to the work. QA lives in a constant battle of executing 100+ tests a day and not being a robot, meaning we need to be actively analyzing not only the test output but the whole environment stability, UI behavior, API calls, etc…
Coffee!
Everything was going ‘fine’, found some bugs but nothing big, was able to keep up with the pace and working good torwards a good release with a few bug fixes and some new features. But hey, i’m almost out of coffee, can’t stay without it, right? Went to the groceries store and browsing coffees on a miles long coffee shelf. So many, some expensive and good, some expensive and terrible, some cheap and good enough, some cheap and disgusting.

I do prefer brazilian coffee and this BAGGIO bourbon was a good deal, a blend from Sao Paulo and Minas Gerais, two of the best brazilian coffee regions, well well well, we have a winner.
How to make a good coffee?
I bought a Bialetti last i’ve been to Italy and I really like that but, how much coffee do I add? Check the side of the coffee packing, that says 15g makes 2 cups, I have a 6 cups bialetti so I would need 45g of coffee… dude… I was used to 15g for the whole 6 cups, thats almost 3 times of what I’m used to. And thats too much… Ok. lets do twice then. ¯\(ツ)/¯

It doesn’t even fit, ended up making with 25g
BUGS EVERYWHERE!!
I. AM. SPEED
That was clearly a mistake. My stomachs gonna regret that, but man it was good.
Back at regression.
The right first test and I found a bug One more test, one more bug Third one, third bug. At the fourth bug I thought I was seeing things, had to take a step back, took notes and thought “Ok, i’ll check that later” but then found a P0 bug, oh man… first time in my whole carreer I found five bugs in a row while on regression. Its like when you’re doing the lawn and hit a rock so you stop, remove it, restart and immediately hit again 5 consecutive times.
Wrap up
The fifth was finally the last one, that coffee was really strong but boosted me a ton. I sorted all bugs out at the end and right now I’m still writing tickets, don’t feel the coffee effect anymore and can finally call it a day.
